S9901110001   Klira         Oaklahoma Bass              1965                 $699
Rare double cutaway red sparkle finished solid body bass with 2 Schaller
pickups. Has a wide range of tones due to the original 4 way switch for each
pickup. Very narrow bolt on neck with 28.5" scale dot inlaid rosewood finger-
board would make it perfect for a guitatist who doubles on bass or use as a
piccolo bass. Din plug replaced with a 1/4" jack. Replacement knobs. V.G.+

S9907090007  Larson / Stahl      Mandobass       1912          $4995
Super rare 42.5" scale fretted upright bass that looks like a big A style mandolin.
Spruce top done in that shoe polish brown common on Larson instruments,
maple sides, back and neck done in the faux rosewood often seen on
Larson made Stahls. Several well repaied top cracks. Repaired back center
seam. New bridge which corrects the intonation issues associated with the
included original bridge. From the Chinery Collection. Appears in several of Bob
Hartman's Larson books. With a note from Bob attesting to it's provinance.
Plays fine. Kind of quiet for as big as it is. Overall good.
